女高音/洪美枫博士

洪美枫博士出生于马来西亚吉隆坡,启蒙于施昭群老师。后赴台湾升造,毕业于国立台湾师范大学音乐系,主修声乐,师从任蓉教授,副修钢琴,师从李娓娓教授。大学毕业后赴义大利升造,就读于国立罗马音乐院,随 Rebecca Berg学习声乐,另随 Sergio Coniglio学习钢琴。后获取澳洲墨尔本大学颁发之奖学金,并跟随声乐家Merlyn Quaife 学习,最后考取墨尔本大学音乐表演硕士;后考取国立马来西亚博特拉大学音乐博士。

洪美枫博士在大学期间曾获师大音乐系声乐协奏曲比赛冠军。 2003年,她在世界华人声乐大赛中从逾百名参赛者中脱颖而出,获得第八名并获颁新秀奖。 2014年10月,美枫获颁“全球音乐大奖”之银奖-卓越成就奖。 2018年初,洪美枫博士获得意大利政府总统颁赠的骑士勋章,作为表扬她对声乐艺术的成就与贡献;同年9月,洪美枫博士获得了柏林国际音乐大赛声乐组金奖,评审委员会一致认同,洪美枫博士的音乐表现了精致的音乐性、具有深度的音乐演绎并且具备了国际水平的声乐技巧。 2019年,洪美枫博士获得第16届马来西亚艺术大奖(Boh Cameronian Arts Awards)颁发年度最佳独唱者大奖。同年,洪美枫博士获得由首相马哈迪医生颁赠的马来西亚教育部高等教育局颁发最高学术奖(表演艺术组)。

洪美枫博士是活跃的音乐工作者,演唱足迹包括了马来西亚吉隆坡丶槟城丶新山,台湾丶罗马丶墨尔本丶香港以及澳门等地。她所演唱的曲目广泛,室内乐作品则包括舒曼的《女人的爱情与生活》丶佛瑞的《美好的歌》丶理查·史特劳斯的《最后四首歌》、贝尔格的《最初的七首歌曲》等等;她也曾担任韩德尔的Ode for St. Cecilia’s Day 以及《弥赛亚》的女高音独唱。除此之外,洪美枫博士也爱好演唱当代作曲家之作品,她曾在澳洲墨尔本首演近代意大利作曲家Aldo Finzi之声乐作品集,也曾受邀参与多场马来西亚当代声乐作品之世界首演音乐会,其中有一些作品是特别献给她,为她而作。

洪美枫博士曾多次与吉隆坡城市歌剧公司 (KL City Opera, KLCO) 合作。从2013年开始,洪美枫博士参与KLCO制作的歌剧《卡门》,担任女主角,备受瞩目并获得好评;2014年她再度受邀参演KLCO制作的梅诺弟的歌剧《阿玛尔与夜访者》,担任女主角“母亲” 一角;2015年初,她在马来西亚爱乐交响乐团(MPO)制作的歌剧《卡门》中,在不同的演出场次中饰演“卡门”以及“梅尔塞迪”两个角色;2016年美枫再次与KLCO合作,担任普契尼的歌剧《波西米亚人》的女主角“咪咪” 一角。 2017年1月,她担任 MPO制作的莫扎特歌剧《魔笛》的演出,担任第一侍女;2017年,洪美枫博士担任KLCO制作的莫札特歌剧《费加洛的婚礼》中伯爵夫人一角。 2019年6月,洪美枫博士担任KLCO制作的威尔第歌剧《茶花女》中的女主角维奥莉塔。

洪美枫博士曾经跟许多乐团与国际知名指挥家合作,其中包括李国良(马来西亚),陈子虔(马来西亚),Juan Montoya(哥伦比亚),Kevin Field (英国),Ciarán McAuley(英国),Fabio Mechetti(巴西/美国) ,和Guillaume Tourniaire(法国/瑞士)、Sergio La Stella (义大利)、Naohisa Furusawa(马来西亚) 等。

洪美枫博士是现代马来西亚最受瞩目的女高音之一,常受邀担任各大型音乐会独唱领唱者和各大型歌剧女主角,也常受邀到各地大师班当指导。她目前担任国立博特拉大学音乐系之专任讲师,专门负责统筹大学的声乐独唱与合唱课程。除演出与教学之外, 洪美枫博士也积极从事声音的研究工作,目前的研究方向为人声的复健。她曾是《星洲日报》音乐专栏「听弹琴」的作者,同时也是董总课程局艺术科目的委员之一。

男高音/陈颖豪

男高音/音乐唱片制作人/ 声乐指导/文化产品策划人

在北京中央音乐学院与中央歌剧院进修声乐多年。师从中央歌剧院著名男高音王信纳先生,系统学习了西洋美声唱法。陈颖豪在京期间,曾举办过数场小型的独唱音乐会,在京期间曾举办过数场独唱音乐会,被业界誉为在演绎意大利歌曲和中国民歌方面音色醇厚独特,演唱诠释自然不矫饰。

2000年出版并演唱首张中国爵士音乐演唱专辑《咆哮之中》(Bop Within)。 2002年协助中央电视台译配申奥中英文歌曲,指导中国著名歌手孙国庆、沙宝亮、叶凡、郭蓉等英语演唱发音。 2004年策划编选出版亲子音乐系列《与妈妈一起音乐旅行》、身心灵健康音乐系列《我的音疗工房》与《采茶房茶音乐》系列。 2006年策划编选《音乐剧魅影》一书。曾与中国唱片公司联合策划出版中国首张古筝弹唱唐诗宋词专辑《山居秋暝》。 2008年,作为歌手和音乐总监,出版了人声发烧天碟《原醉》和中国意象新世纪音乐专辑《听城》。

2009年,在大马吉隆坡Old China Café 成功举办一场“意大利和中国民歌专场”的慈善演唱会。同年作为音乐总监和声乐指导,监制并指导大马著名时代曲歌手友弟,一场以南洋为基调的风情音乐会《摩登南洋》。

2010年底,受邀于YTL集团,参与第四届《时光旅程》之“大马旅游局之夜”的压轴演出,此活动堪称亚洲最为瞩目的名表珠宝展。

回国后作为音乐总监和声乐指导,与大马著名时代曲歌手友弟与英社戏剧元老甄山水合作,一场以南洋为基调的风情音乐会《摩登南洋》。

2010年10月,制作著名歌手友弟主唱的电视剧《女头家》主题曲《发花》并获金视奖最佳电视剧主题曲奖。

2010年始与马来西亚中文爵士第一品牌与推手POP POP MUSIC合作,以制作人与声乐指导的身份制作过数张发烧天碟,包括2010年歌手欣彦《芭莎公主》专辑、2012年歌手何芸妮《靡靡之音》专辑和2013年POP POP MUSIC旗下顶尖艺人如:何芸妮、欣彦、张盈慧、莉迪亚等的合唱专辑《绽放》等,在流行与发烧音乐市场反应甚好。其中《芭莎公主》更获得台湾权威发烧音响杂志《音响论坛》的「棒喝CD 100」强力推荐专辑。

2010年底始,为了推广本地古典音乐,与爱乐人成立自资古典音乐平台MY MUSIC OUTLET,成功举办多场国内外音乐家的专场音乐会,其中包括多位海外留学归国的歌唱家,并从中国与台湾引进杰出音乐家,与本地古典音乐工作者进行演出交流活动。 2013年3月,成功聚集本地12位优秀的钢琴家,举办长达5小时的吉隆坡古典钢琴作品精粹音乐会。

2013年底,首次以男声叙述者的角度,将作曲家王立平在1987为《红楼梦》电视剧所创作的12首歌曲串连,2小时不间断的《红楼梦套曲赏析音乐会》,除了演唱,还邀请中文讲师邱克威针对每一首曹雪芹的诗词作深入的赏析讲解,得到中国古典文学爱好者和音乐师生们的喜爱。

在2013年9月至2016年2月间,于《星洲日报》艺文空间撰写专栏《赏心乐事》。之后不定期的邀稿撰写音乐专题文章。

2018年伊始,展开国内首次以小场地为主的说唱系列巡礼计划『走唱——中国民歌地图巡礼说唱会』,旨在与听众建立近距离的音乐分享,民歌音乐的初衷还原于民间,试图重新定义民歌的诠释与聆赏方式。

2020年,作为唱片制作人,集合了国内不同领域的艺文创作者包括:诗人周若涛、歌手欣彦、作曲人王修捷、电影配乐编曲人何福全(Ken Hor)、插画家龚万辉、摄影人与纪录片导演陈子韩、与装作艺术家李慕义等人,共同制作酝酿了4年的诗曲概念专辑《神秘之歌》,并以黑胶唱片出版发行。此专辑也有幸邀得我国非物质文化遗产传承人玛蓉乐(Mak Yong)表演艺术家Zamzuriah Zahari,首次跨界将马来半岛最古老的戏曲形式融入中文音乐唱片专辑,得到海内外许多资深音乐人的赞誉。

近期活活跃于大马舞台并投入推广古典音乐会策划工作。

Violin Soloist/Kyvie Tan

Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Kyvie Tan started to learn the violin and piano at the tender age of 4. Her debut as a solo artist was with the Cerita Sinfonica ensemble in 2016 at the age of 12 performing the renowned Bach Double Violin Concerto for 2 violins in D minor alongside her sister, Kylie Tan. Later on, she performed the Bach with two other orchestras, namely Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre String Orchestra and Selangor Philharmonic Youth Orchestra in 2017 respectively. Her latest solo performance was with the Philomusica String Orchestra on the first movement of Brahms’ Violin Concerto in June 2022.

Tan had the opportunity to be interviewed and featured in many media platforms like the local Malaysian channel TV9 “Nasi Lemak Kopi O” with Upin and Ipin in 2014 and TV3 Malaysian local news in 2019, accompanied with several interviews with the BFM Radio 89.9 in 2017 and with the Riverwest Radio WXRW 104.1FM of Milwaukee, United States in 2020. Other media features include the China Press Newspaper in 2017. Tan also recorded her first music album “Hope” taking part as the violinist for Calvary Music and Creative Arts in April 2019 and their first EP “Hymns” with a special instrumental cover in September 2023.

Having had the honour to perform for Malaysia’s crown prince of Selangor, Tun Tengku Amir Shahibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shahin for his birthday celebration back in 2016 and with the wife of Malaysia’s former prime minister (Tun Mahathir bin Mohamad), Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah throughout 2014-2018 are also one of the highlights of Tan’s music journey. Following that, Tan had the opportunity to serve as concertmaster under the Emmy-nominated Belgian composer and conductor Sir Dirk Brossé in 2017 and with conductor Kevin Field in 2018.

Tan is now currently under the tutelage of Dr. Goh Chia-Chien and had studied previously with Dr. Joanne Yeoh, Winnie Cheah and Natalie Tan. She also had the privilege of attending masterclasses with Andrzej Grabiec, Evgeny Zvonikkov, Jeremy Cohen, Chinn-Horng Chen and Lynn Kuo. Throughout her music journey, Tan obtained and completed the Licentiate Trinity College London (LTCL) Diploma in Violin Performance in June 2018 with distinction and Grade 8 Trinity in Piano with distinction in June 2017. She has now completed her Masters in Music Performance Studies majoring in violin at UCSI University Malaysia under the UCSI Trust Graduate Scholarship in 2024, her Bachelor of Music Performance degree with First Class Honours in Sunway University Malaysia under the Tun Siti Hasmah scholarship award in 2023 and her Foundation in Music at UCSI University Malaysia under the UCSI University Trust Scholarship in 2019. Her awards include the Trinity London Award of Excellence for violin Grade 6 and 7, gold award for Euroasia Violin Competition in Open Category: Junior Division in 2015, and awarded with the Diploma of the Winner of the First Degree in the Instrumental Chamber Performance of the JS Fest Music Competition of Finland.

Tan is very active in the local music scene and is a member of the Selangor Philharmonic Orchestra (2014-present), a member in the Penang Symphony Orchestra (2016-present), and the Philomusica String Orchestra (2018-present). She is also a former member of the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (2017-2022), Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre Orchestra (2013-2020), Permata Seni Muzik (2014-2017), Symphonia Fantasia String Ensemble (2014-2018), and Clap and Tap Children Orchestra (2010-2013). She has also been invited as a guest musician for University Putra Malaysia Symphony Orchestra (UPM) in 2016 and the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) in 2024.

In addition, Tan participated in the 2022 Clazz International Music Festival in Italy and the 2023 2nd International Chamber Music Academy in Germany. She had also performed with Bachfest Malaysia on “All Things New”, “Hello, Mr. Bach!” and “Bach’s St. John’s Passion” in 2023. In 2024, Tan participated in the 2024 Singapore Chamber Music Festival, and also performed for the PKP Fellowship Service in Indonesia. In June 2024, Tan performed with Bachfest Malaysia in their grand Germany tour. Tan’s music journey spans not only locally as well as in East Malaysia but she also widely performs internationally as well in Singapore, China (Xi’An, Yuncheng, Beijing and Xiamen), Hong Kong, Indonesia (Jakarta, Surabaya), Italy (Arcidosso), and Germany (Ochsenhausen, Leipzig, Eisenach, Arnstadt).

Meet Maestro Chan Ling Chee: A Conductor with Vision and a Musician of Calibre
With an illustrious career spanning over three decades, Maestro Chan Ling Chee stands at the forefront of the music world, celebrated not only for his exceptional skill as a musician specialising in the piano and cello but also for his visionary contributions as a conductor. His dedication to nurturing talent has seen him mentor countless musicians, many of whom have gone on to achieve international acclaim.

A Celebrated Performer- Maestro Chan’s performance resume is as diverse as it is impressive, featuring collaborations with some of the world’s leading orchestras. His expertise on the cello has been showcased with renowned groups such as Petaling Jaya Philharmonic Orchestra, Penang Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, and the Orchestra of Music Makers in Singapore, among others. His international acclaim is further evidenced by standout performances at prestigious events including the 8th Kumamoto Music Festival in Japan, the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Malaysia-China Diplomatic Ties in 2004, and the International Summer Music Festival in the USE in 2009.

A Conductor of Distinction – Maestro Chan’s approach to conducting marries intensity with a unique sense of humour, allowing him to extract the finest performances from his orchestras. A staunch believer in the timeless relevance of classical music, he founded the Selangor Philharmonic Orchestra in 2023, through which he shares his passion for music with both the local community and the world.

In addition to his role with the Selangor Philharmonic Orchestra and Youth Orchestra, Maestro Chan lends his talents to the Kuen Cheng Philharmonic Orchestra and the Monash Chamber Orchestra, among others. His commitment to music education is also evident through the establishment of the Chan Academy of Music & Arts in 2009, located in Puchong, which has become a nurturing ground for the next generation of musical talent.
